• Clothing Media & Wardrobe Items: Photos and image files you upload containing your garments, shoes, and accessories, along with any optional notes or tags you attach.
• Usage & Device Information: Standard server logs, IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction timestamps necessary for security, rate limiting, and technical maintenance.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing

Gardrobes uses automated artificial intelligence (computer vision and natural language models) to enhance your wardrobe management:

• Automated Background Removal: When you upload a clothing photo, our image processing pipeline isolates the clothing item and removes distracting backgrounds to generate a clean catalog cutout.
• Garment Classification: Computer vision models automatically detect item category (tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes), specific subtypes (e.g., T-Shirts, Shirts, Boots), dominant colors, fabrics, and recommended wearing seasons.
• AI Stylist: Our conversational AI stylist analyzes your digitized wardrobe metadata (anonymized item types, colors, seasonality) to answer your outfit queries and propose matching clothing combinations.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process your data for the following legitimate purposes:

• To operate, maintain, and provide the core features of the Gardrobes digital wardrobe platform.
• To authenticate your sessions securely via JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
• To generate your personal wardrobe catalog, outfit combinations, and fashion feeds.
• To facilitate social interactions (likes, comments, following) if you opt into public wardrobe sharing.
• To prevent fraudulent activity, enforce rate limits, and maintain application security.

• Service Providers: Trusted infrastructure and hosting partners who assist in serving web assets under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the vital rights and security of our users and services.

7. Data Storage, Security & Retention

We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. User passwords are cryptographic one-way hashes, and media file uploads are verified and stored with security headers (CSP, CORS, frame-ancestors restrictions).

Your wardrobe items and account information are retained for as long as your account remains active. Whenever you delete a photo from your wardrobe, the file and all associated AI analysis records are permanently removed from our active database and file storage.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as under GDPR, KVKK, or CCPA), you have several rights regarding your data:

• Access & Update: You can review and update your username, email, physical traits, and profile photo anytime in Account Settings.
• Deletion of Photos: You can delete any individual wardrobe item at any time using the trash icon in your wardrobe.
• Privacy Control: You can toggle between a public and private profile with a single switch in Settings.
• Account Deletion: You have the right to request full account and data termination by contacting us.
